You can update your USB Loader GX by clicking the Update Button at the Settings (you can't see it if you have locked the program) So you can just grab a version from here and after that update through the program. ;) Note that there should be an update_path
option at the loader's settings to give the directory you want to use
for the update, in case you don't use the default one :/apps/usbloader_gx/, and a setting to be able to update to the latest beta revision ;)
Latest version is 1.8 : "USB Loader GX" Easy installer (for Windows) is a program that helps you install the latest USB Loader GX to your SD/USB with all the necessary files. It is not required for you to install USB Loader GX, because the installation is only a copy/paste of files to your SD/USB, but it can be useful to people with limited PC knowledge.

Latest version v5.1 . The wad/channel version includes the program and saves it to your Wii memory too, while the forwarder is a link to the program (dol/elf) saved at your SD card or at your USB HDD and doesn't need to be updated again

This is the channel version of USB Loader GX (boot IOS 249)
Please be aware that loading games from USB drive is not(yet) possible.
Using SDHC cards up to 32GB is possible, format them to FAT32 64KB cluster size for best compatibility.
Before you use this software make sure that your Wii is backwards-compatible to gamecube games because newly released Wiis(beginning with 2011 holiday season) which are lacking the gamecube controller/ memory card ports can make no use of DML.

WiiTDB is a collaborative database for anyone to contribute to and/or use in any Wii-related project. It is the default cover and game info download site for USB Loader GX and also contains full packs of covers by region which are periodically updated.
Previously Simple WBFS File Manager this program has been completely rewritten form scratch and renamed to something more suitable.

The new cIOS, obtained by replacing the original modules with these ones, is known as cIOSX d2x where d2x stands for davebaol, xabby666, and XFlak.
